Position Overview

We are seeking a professional Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of on-site operations.

 

Operations Manager will have direct responsibility for overall operation’s performance, P&L, budgeting, and people leadership. Direct oversight of team members hiring, training, performance.

  • Directs production operations to ensure cost effectiveness, efficiency, and consistency with prescribed quality and other performance standards. Develops or revises operational and working practices; ensures compliance with customer and industry standards.
  • Participates in the resolution and prevention of customer complaints, while promoting solid customer relations to work in partnership.
  • Drives overall talent management, development and employee engagement activities; cultivates an environment of high performance, safety, and ethical and legal compliance; addresses employee relations issues.
  • Leads communication by example, including management meetings, oversight of daily operations, and review any customer issues.
  • Manages operational KPI’s.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
  • Minimum eight years of direct operational leadership experience with progressively more responsibility.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, forecasting, scheduling, real-time operations management and coordination of people and resources.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with related experience; or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Certificates and Licenses Required

  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
